Regulations for Approved Driving Instructors<\/h1>\n

The regulations that apply to driving instructors and why they are necessary.<\/h3>\n

It\u2019s an offence for any driving instructor to teach someone to drive unless they are on the Road Safety Authority\u2019s <\/a>register of Approved Driving Instructors<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The RSA operates a structured regulatory system to standardize and maintain a high quality of driver instruction in Ireland. There are a number of laws and penalties which apply to ADIs.<\/p>\n

Make sure that the person providing driving lesson to you is an Approved Driving Instructor (ADI). Check their permit and make sure it’s not expired.<\/p>\n

In Order to obtain a Driving License in Ireland. One has to go through few steps before eligible to sit the driving test.<\/p>\n

First step is to obtain a Learner permit.<\/p>\n
